An erect perennial plant with a basal rosette of large fleshy leaves and erect branched stems. Numerous tubular cream flowers from spring to autumn. Flowers are pleasantly fragrant in the evening. Prefers well drained soils in escarpment shrubland. A very important plant for moths.
