Australian bush flower essences

Native Australian flowers and trees have been used for years now as flower essences and making a difference to people's lives every day.

Every flower and plant is a living organism and has it's own individual energetic healing benefits that people have been working with for centuries. Above is a She Oak which is used for women's reproductive and hormonal wellbeing.

Ever wondered why hugging a tree or sitting in a field of flowers can change your mood? It's not just by chance that nature and even more specifically flower essences can make a huge difference to your wellbeing.

Flower essence from each species of flower have a individual energetic healing property and can be used for a multitude of disorders, disease and assist changing one's mindset.


Australian bush flower essences by Ian White and Living Essences in Western Australia are widely used in naturopathy and natural healing modalities. The system of plant and flower-based essences was developed in the 1930s by Dr Edward Bach, a physician and homeopath who was convinced that emotional wellbeing was key to overall health. They don't have a smell, colour or flavour apart from the alcohol they are preserved in but once diluted in water you can hardly taste it.


Some of the Australian flower essences are so small you would probably walk past them on a walk unless you had your eye tuned in to seek out the wildflowers on your walk. The Fringed violet is one that is only tiny sitting at about 1/2 cm and you could easily walk past it. This flower essence can be used for damage to aura, removal of effects of recent or distressing events, psychic protection, or for treating damage to the aura where there has been shock, grief or distress from abuse or assault.

With some of Australia's plants and flower being the oldest in the world energetically they may be have healing capabilities that we are still yet to discover.

Keeping, preserving and recreating habitats of our natural landscape for our plants and wildflowers to flourish may just be doing more than we are aware of on a healing level. Preserving them in the wild to allow healing modalities like flower essence and other medicines is key to our developing future.
